Trading During Holiday - FxPro Message

Dear All,

I believe all of you already got the message from FxPro, sent via MT4 platform. Here are the message :

Please note that trading time in FOREX, Spot Metals, CFD stocks and futures on Christmas (25.12.2009) and New Year (01.01.2010) Holidays will be changed as follows:

From 17:00 until 20:00 server time on 24.12.2009 and 31.12.2009 the maximum leverage rate for opening a new position will be set as 1:100, as per paragraph 6.15 of the CFD Terms and Conditions.

The above will affect execution of pending orders. In case of not enough funds to execute any pending order at execution price, the order will be cancelled.

For all open positions, executed before this period of time, used margin won’t be changed.

From 24.12.2009 to 04.01.2010 inclusive Maximum Spreads mentioned in Contracts Specifications can be increased in 3 times, as per paragraph 6.18 of the CFD Terms and Conditions.

The above mentioned that the leverage will be increased to 1:100 on 31/12/2009 as stipulated in the contract agreement to the new position as well as the PO that triggered within the specified time. Therefore, I am encouraging you not to open any post during this time, whether instant or PO.

I believe, FxPro is going to protect us as trader by choosing to increase the leverage instead of increasing the spreads like what another broker have done right now.

its mean that..if i have an open trade..i can hold until 30.12.09 before they increase the leverage on 31.12.09? because now i  2 open post..so i waiting for it to be green so should close it now or i can hold until 30.12.09?

Which means, we still can keep all opened positions as is.

You are right! Its only affect to the new open post during that date. This is including the PO which triggered during that specified time. For the already open post, it will not affect.

Salam....hmmm....kalau tak aktif, org tak berkumpul kat sini....mungkin banyak thread yg tak aktif, but, you can see the statistic...our visitors, our post, etc...maybe some of thread tak aktif cause most of TPP members sembang dlm Private Area.

woww..so scary...the lev become 1:100....
even the lowest pair among others is NU will become usd71.93 per 0.10 lot, am i right?
imagine those pair like GJ GU EU...and even EG...thank god my position closed safely and peacefully...
gonna miss NU untill next year..
